In her practice, this artist investigates the bilateral symmetry forming the human being. In photographs, videos, drawings and sculptures, she analyses how the division of the regions of the brain translates rational or emotional states. This project starts from a language game known as the Stroop Effect, consisting of reaction to a given stimulus sent simultaneously to the two cerebral hemispheres. So, the reading, by several different young people, of a sequence of words designating colours, written in tones that are different to their meaning, becomes a failed act. This work thus shows that in the human being the intellectual plane prevails over the sensorial dimension.
