“LONG DISTANCE CALL”

Long Distance Call concluiu uma trilogia desenvolvida em torno de objetos, identidades, viagens e relações amorosas, iniciada com os solos Última Chamada (2005) e Coleção Privada (2007).
Nesta última peça, Separação, Perda, Resgate e Memória, são as linhas conceptuais que estão na base de uma paisagem coreográfica, onde objetos e ações se transformam em rituais de múltiplas leituras ou, simplesmente, numa coleção de imagens.
Este espetáculo, criado entre Lisboa e Frankfurt, propõe-se falar sobre distâncias, lugares longínquos, habitações, vizinhos, estranhos e estrangeiros, famílias, turismo, dinheiro, mapas, fronteiras, estereótipos e ideias feitas, arrependimentos, objetos insignificantes, raridades, sentimentos desconhecidos, amantes, casais, cópias, verdades e mentiras, biografias, espelhos e outros efeitos.

Long Distance Call has completed a trilogy developed around objects, identities, travels and love affairs, which started with the solos Última Chamada (2005) and Coleção Privada (2007).
In this last piece, Separation, Loss, Rescue and Memory, are the conceptual lines which constitute the basis of a choreographic landscape, where objects and actions become rituals of multiple readings or simply, a collection of images.
This show, created between Lisbon and Frankfurt, proposes to talk about distances, distant places, homes, neighbors, strangers and foreigners, families, tourism, money, maps, borders, stereotypes and preconceived ideas, regrets, insignificant objects, rarities, stranger feelings, lovers, couples, copies, truths and lies, biographies, mirrors and other effects.
