A partir do mito de Pandora que, ignorando os avisos do amante, abriu a caixa que continha os males do mundo, Teresa Coutinho escreve e cria Je ne regrette rien, sob o ponto de vista da figura mitológica a quem é imputada a responsabilidade pela origem de todo o Mal. Confrontada com a proibição, a possibilidade da desobediência ganha um lugar central na existência desta mulher: o único modo de reclamar a sua vontade. Cruzando auto-biografia e ficção, a criadora reflete sobre o desejo, o medo, a importância da transgressão no feminino e enquanto motor dos feminismos. Teresa Coutinho dá corpo a uma mulher que se orgulha de ter feito uma escolha até às últimas consequências. Uma queda – ou um salto? – sem arrependimentos.

Teresa Coutinho é actriz, criadora e dramaturga.
Trabalhou como actriz com Christiane Jatahy, Tim Crouch, Émilie Rousset, Rogério de Carvalho, Ricardo Neves-Neves, entre outros. Contracenou com Tim Crouch, no espectáculo An Oak Tree, no Festival d’Avignon 2023. Criou O Fim Foi Visto (2025), Was Ist Das Kind So Schon a partir de Paula Rego (Theater Basel, 2024), Sem Medo (2023), Solo (2022), entre outros. Foi assistente de Tiago Rodrigues, Gus Van Sant, Faustin Linyekula, entre outros.

Based on the myth of Pandora, who ignored her lover’s warnings and opened the box containing all the evils of the world, Teresa Coutinho writes and creates Je ne regrette rien from the perspective of the mythological figure blamed for the origin of all evil.
Faced with prohibition, the possibility of disobedience takes centre stage in this woman’s existence: the only way to reclaim her will. Crossing autobiography and fiction, the creator reflects on desire, fear and the importance of transgression in women and feminism. Teresa Coutinho embodies a woman who, contrary to the guilt of the mythological figure, is proud to have made a choice, even to the ultimate consequences.

Teresa Coutinho is an actress, creator and playwright.
She has worked as an actress with Christiane Jatahy, Tim Crouch, Émilie Rousset, Rogério de Carvalho, Ricardo Neves-Neves, among others. She starred opposite Tim
