AMPLA
AMPLA’s mission is to promote inclusion and equal access to cinema in Portugal, ensuring that everyone can fully enjoy the cinematic experience under conditions of complete accessibility.
After four editions as a film showcase dedicated to presenting award-winning films with accessibility resources, AMPLA now establishes itself as a permanent platform for accessibility in Portuguese cinema, working alongside producers, distributors, and exhibitors to continuously integrate accessibility resources into film screenings nationwide.
Film festival that brought together a selection of awardwinning films in the main film festivals in Portugal, such as Curtas Vila do Conde, IndieLisboa, MOTELX, MONSTRA, Queer Lisboa, CINANIMA, among others. A unique opportunity to experience the best Portuguese and international cinema, from short to feature films, from documentaries to horror movies, not forgetting sessions dedicated to younger audiences.
All movies were shown with accessibility features so that all people could enjoy the shows on equal terms. Some sessions would be laid-back and held in a more relaxed environment. Alongside the program, there were a set of workshops, masterclass and debates dedicated to cinema and audiovisual production.
