A VÍDEO ARTE – ONTEM E HOJE, EM PORTUGAL, ESPANHA, AMÉRICA CENTRAL E AMÉRICA DO SUL
Na sua 9ª edição, o FUSO integra a programação do Lisboa Capital Ibero-Americana de Cultura 2017. Se o confronto entre obras históricas e a contemporaneidade na vídeo arte está na génese do FUSO, o passado e o presente será o mote para um diálogo abrangente e referencial, cruzando a Europa e as Américas. Assim, as sessões apresentarão propostas de curadores de destaque das Américas do Sul e Central, bem como de Portugal. Mantendo os eixos programáticos do FUSO, será homenageado o artista brasileiro Paulo Bruscky, pioneiro da arte conceptual nos anos 60 e da arte postal, vídeo arte e arte sonora a partir dos anos 70 no Brasil.

THE VIDEOART – YESTERDAY AND TODAY, IN PORTUGAL, SPAIN, CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICAS
In its 9th edition, FUSO takes part in the Lisbon Capital Ibero-American Culture 2017 program. If the confrontation between historical works and contemporaneity in video art is at the genesis of FUSO, the past and present will be the motto for a comprehensive dialogue and referential, crossing Europe and the Americas. Thus, the sessions will present proposals from leading curators from South and Central America, and from Portugal as well. Maintaining the programmatic lines of FUSO, the Brazilian artist Paulo Bruscky, pioneer of conceptual art in the 60s and of postal art, video art and sound art from the 70s will be honoured.
