“CONVERSAS DOMÉSTICAS”

ENGLISH

I have been investigating ways of thinking and naming the vital relationship between the scene and the audience. For that reason, I talked to Portuguese and foreign actors, dancers and performers, since they are the ones who know that relationship from the inside and are capable of identifying the sensitive difference that marks each show.

In one aspect, they were unanimous: those things are known because they feel them. For months, I collected words, expressions, metaphors and gestures that helped me elaborating a vocabulary proposal to talk about what they feel. Now it is time to return this proposal to the artists (surprise guests of this session), to debate it along with the wind, a coffee or a chocolate cake.
