“I CAN’T BREATHE”

Os acontecimentos em torno da morte do cidadão norte-americano Eric Garner, que deram origem ao movimento “I Can’t Breathe”, são o ponto de partida para uma reflexão sobre a ligação entre a exposição e total visibilidade da pornografia e a sociedade contemporânea.
Um ator de teatro e uma ex-atriz de filmes pornográficos encontram-se com a esperança de entender a crescente ausência de intimidade, a necessidade urgente em tornar tudo visível, a sensação de sufoco e indiferença, o cansaço generalizado e, sobretudo, para evitar o fim anunciado do mistério e da ilusão nas suas vidas.

“I CAN’T BREATHE”

The events surrounding the death of the US citizen Eric Garner, that gave rise to the movement “I Can’t Breathe”, are the starting point for a thinking on the link between the exposure and total visibility of pornography and contemporary society.
A theater actor and a former porn actress meet each other in the hope of understanding the growing lack of intimacy, the urgent need to make everything visible, the feeling of suffocation and indifference, the general fatigue and, above all, to avoid the announced end of mystery and illusion in their lives.
