O teatro é vida, como o movimento é vida. Em “Verdade ou Consequência?” Sofia Marques parte em busca do seu amigo e actor Luis Miguel Cintra; e Cintra em busca de si mesmo, ambos escavando a matéria e a memória do teatro, a matéria e a memória da vida. Em casa, rodeado de estatuária e do seu Porto, junto ao mar e na Espanha onde nasceu, num palco de luz e sombras, nos filmes de Manoel de Oliveira ou nos poemas de Ruy Belo.
Bio
Sofia Marques é uma actriz e cineasta portuguesa. Entre 1996 e até ao seu encerramento em 2017, Sofia colaborou regularmente com o Teatro da Cornucópia, fazendo parte de dezenas de elencos, quase sempre encenados por Luis Miguel Cintra. Em 2016, venceu o Prémio SPA na categoria de Melhor Atriz de Teatro. Sofia também participou em várias curtas e longas-metragens realizadas por Raquel Freire, Lorenzo Bianchini, Inês Oliveira, Manuel Mozos, Joaquim Pinto e Nuno Leonel, entre outros. Theatre is life, just as movement is life. In VERDADE OU CONSEQUÊNCIA? , Sofia Marques goes in search of her friend and actor, Luis Miguel Cintra; WHO Is in search of himself. Both are excavating the matter and the memory of the theatre, the matter and the memory of life. At home, surrounded by statuary, his city by the sea, Porto, and Spain where he was born, he stands on a stage of light and shadows—in the films of Manoel de Oliveira or in the poems of Ruy Belo.
BIO
Sofia Marques is a Portuguese actor and film director. From 1996 until its closure in 2017, she regularly collaborated with the Teatro da Cornucópia, acting in dozens of plays, almost always staged by Luis Miguel Cintra. In 2016, she won the SPA Award in the category of Best Theatre Actor. She also participated in several short and feature films directed by Raquel Freire, Lorenzo Bianchini, Inês Oliveira, Manuel Mozos, Joaquim Pinto, and Nuno Leonel, among others.
