A Lisboa dos jardins, terraços e esplanadas, por vezes distante do público em geral, abraça as noites de Verão com uma plateia de espreguiçadeiras preparada especialmente para a apresentação de experiências artísticas marcantes da Vídeo Arte.
Cinco dias de viagem pela Vídeo Arte sugerem, anualmente, um percurso temático abrangente fora do contexto habitual de galerias e museus, em espaços ao ar livre, com entrada gratuita.
A edição de 2013 mantém as parcerias nacionais e internacionais estabelecidas permitindo, uma vez mais, a apresentação de obras de qualidade, inéditas em Portugal, conferindo a esta iniciativa uma visibilidade internacional.
A programação estará a cargo de Jean-François Chougnet, Lori Zippay, Pilar Ribal Simó, Anne Marie Duguet, Susana Pomba, Isabel Nogueira e Solange Farkas, em estreita colaboração com os responsáveis das instituições parceiras, nomeadamente o BES Arte & Finança, onde estarão patentes trabalhos de artistas portugueses, com curadoria de João Laia.
O Open Call aos artistas portugueses, com seleção de Jacinto Lageira e Júri nomeado pela direção do FUSO, é uma vertente fundamental deste festival. Por um lado, é o garante da envolvência no projeto dos artistas/realizadores portugueses por outro, o reconhecimento dado pelo Prémio Aquisição/FUSO/Fundação EDP, é uma extraordinária ferramenta de divulgação e implementação da circulação da Vídeo Arte Nacional.

The Lisbon gardens, balconies and terraces, welcome the public in the summer nights with chairs prepared for the presentation of outstanding artistic experiences.
A five-day journey through Video Art, offering a comprehensive annual thematic route, outside of the usual context of galleries and museums, during which the public is invited to attend the free outdoor screening.
Some of the most prestigious national and international institutions in the field of video art, again, joined FUSO – Anual de Vídeo Arte Internacional de Lisboa, making this initiative a real platform for international meeting and opening borders for national artists.
This program is led by Jean-François Chougnet, Lori Zippay, Pilar Ribal Simó, Anne Marie Duguet, Susana Pomba, Isabel Nogueira and Solange Farkas, in close collaboration with the artistic directors of partner institutions, including BES Arte & Finança which will feature an exhibition curated by João Laia.
The Open Call to Portuguese artists, with a selection by Jacinto Lageira, is a fundamental aspect of this festival. Ensuring the involvement in the project by Portuguese artists/filmmakers, through the Acquisition prize by EDP Foundation, leading to the dissemination and implementation of the work on the national circuit of video art.
