Ana vive com um filho de três anos que teve demasiado cedo e um marido que não parece ter muito a ver com ela, numa vila isolada e rodeada de um imenso lago.
O regresso passageiro de Daniel, um rapaz mais velho de quem ela mal se lembrava, vai desinquietar o seu espírito e ameaçar secretamente a ordem da sua vida.
Se inicialmente o grande lago parece isolar as personagens num mundo fechado, à medida que elas se aproximam dele e o habitam vamo-nos dando conta de como ele faz parte de um forte imaginário onde o real encontra o mundo da infância, o vasto mundo dos sonhos.
Os encontros (e desencontros) que marcam esta história é aí que acontecem, quer de manhã quando a luz ainda lhe dá um tom enigmático, quer ao fim do dia, com a luz quente e doce do sol poente imediatamente antes das sombras caírem e envolverem tudo na sua escuridão.

“THE TEMPEST”

Ana lives with her three-year-old child, to whom she gave birth when she was very young, and her husband, who does not seem to have much to do with her, in an isolated village surrounded by a large lake.
The temporary return of Daniel, an older guy who she barely remembers, will trouble her soul and secretly threaten the order of her life.
If initially the lake seems to isolate the characters in a closed world, as they approach and dwell it, we begin to understand how much it is part of a strong imaginary where reality meets the world of childhood, the vast world of dreams.
The encounters (and mismatches) that mark this story take place near this lake, either in the morning, when the light still gives it an enigmatic tone, or at the end of the day, with the warm and sweet light of sunset, just before the arising of the shadows when everything is involved in its darkness.
