Obra de arte múltipla, verdadeira ópera/performance na qual o público tem um papel bastante ativo, Nous les oeuvres d´Art… reúne várias disciplinas e linguagens.
A «personagem» ou a figura de Straatman implica sempre uma dimensão teatral. O público apreende as suas manifestações e aparições como performances. Construindo corpos como objetos, Straatman é ao mesmo tempo ator, obra, ação e seu lugar comum. Do mesmo modo, os “cafés”, “supermercados”, “casas de câmbio” e outras instalações públicas montadas por Angel Vergara em lugares de exposição são assuntos vivos e livres, onde a presença e as ações dos ocupantes – visitantes, espectadores, clientes… – são a própria obra.

Multiple artwork, real opera/performance in which the public has a very active role, Nous les oeuvres d’Art … brings together various disciplines and languages.
The “character” or figure of Straatman always implies a theatrical dimension. The public apprehends their manifestations and appearances as performances. Building bodies as objects, Straatman is both actor, work, action and their common place. Likewise, “cafes”, “supermarkets”, “money exchange houses” and other public facilities set up by Angel Vergara in exhibition spaces are live and free subjects, where the presence and actions of the occupants – visitors, spectators, customers … – are the work itself.
