INSTALAÇÃO VÍDEO – ESTREIA NACIONAL
Desde 2013 que Arkadi Zaides propõe o cruzamento entre o registo documental do conflito Israelo-Palestiniano e a reprodução da experiência dos corpos dos indivíduos registados, através do seu próprio corpo. Se em Archive – apresentado em Maio, no Alkantara Festival – este estudo resultava numa coreografia apresentada em palco, em Capture Practice a investigação é feita colocando em paralelo dois registos vídeo, num diálogo intenso entre imagem e memória.

“CAPTURE PRACTICE”

Since 2013, Arkadi Zaides crosses in his works the documentary record of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the reproduction of the experience of the registered individuals’ bodies through his own body. If in Archive – presented in May at the Alkantara Festival – this study resulted in a choreography presented on stage, in Capture Practice the investigation is done by placing two video records in parallel, in an intense dialogue between image and memory.
